Blah to 2007
Well, I would wish you a "Happy New Year" if I felt that it was. Since the moment midnight hit on New Years Eve, there has been nothing but bad luck. Is it possible that 2007 will continue to be bad news......for a whole year? God I hope not.
At about 4 am new years eve, I drove through a flooded street and flooded my engine. Of course I can not take it to the garage, because it seems only nurses have to work on holidays (sorry, low blow). The thought of no car for 2007 is depressing beyond belief. It would remove any sense of freedom that I have. I have not taken a bus in over 6 years, and I heard that it is 2.50$ per ride now....that is madness! I hope to god the damage to my car is repairable.
New Years resolutions: I have never participated in this ritual. I feel that if you wait until January 1st to do something for yourself that you should already be doing...maybe you are just putting it off? I have many goals in life that I consistently put off, and we wont mention them now...but I will not use the new year as pressure to start working on them. I guess one resolution I am sure to follow through with is that I will use public transport more often, he he.
So, now that I have vented...Happy new Year to you all. I wish you the best in health and prosperity and love. If you try to accomplish anything this year, let it be to make yourself happier. Everything else will follow.
